HOLIDAYS · Holiday bootcamps

A school break. A new idea. A real build.

Give the holidays a project to remember. Learners explore coding and robotics, work through a making challenge and finish with something they can show—and explain—to their family.

01 / THE EXPERIENCE

More than “what did you do today?”

It is easier to tell the story of a day when there is something on the table to point to. “This is the sensor. This is what I changed. Watch what happens now.” That is the kind of conversation a making project can start.

Holiday bootcamps bring learning into a focused stretch of the school break. Activities follow the learner’s stage, from playful coding to circuits and robotics, with time to build, test and improve.

The camp ends with a family showcase. Learners share their work and the thinking behind it, including the parts that took a few attempts. A working project is exciting; being able to explain it is part of the achievement.

02 / WHAT GROWS ALONG THE WAY

Skills that reach beyond the build.

[01]

Explore something new

Meet coding and robotics through a challenge with a clear purpose and an age-appropriate starting point.

[02]

Stay with the problem

Work through the build, notice what needs adjusting and practise trying again.

[03]

Tell the project’s story

Prepare to show family members what the project does and explain how it came together.

03 / HOW LEARNING UNFOLDS

Make. Test. Understand.

  1. Explore the idea

Get to know the tools and the challenge, with guided activities that lay the groundwork.

  2. Build and refine

Put the project together, test its behaviour and make changes as understanding grows.

  3. Bring it to the showcase

Demonstrate the build for families and share a discovery, a decision or a problem solved along the way.

04 / BEFORE YOU GET STARTED

A few useful answers.

When is the next bootcamp?

Dates and availability are not published here yet. Send an enquiry with the school break you have in mind so we can discuss the current plans.

How long is a camp?

The duration and daily schedule depend on the camp arrangements. Ask us for the dates, hours and venue before making plans for your family.

Can a beginner join?

Tell us your child’s age and experience. Activities follow different stages of our learning pathway, and we can help you explore a suitable starting point.

Will families see what learners make?

Yes, the program ends in a showcase for families. Learners have a chance to demonstrate their projects and talk about what they learned.

What are the fees and equipment requirements?

Please ask for the details for the camp you’re considering. Fees, laptop and kit arrangements should be confirmed before booking.

LET’S FIND YOUR STARTING POINT

A conversation is a good first step.

Tell us your child’s age and which school break you’re planning for. We’ll discuss camp availability and the details you need before booking.
